Masters Swim Strength Program
The human body is built for swimming, but over the course of a lifetime we can lose what it takes to swim well. Strength, mobility, stability and power build efficient and resilient swimmers. A well designed resistance training program can provide the tools to prevent the overuse injury and the ability to pattern an efficient and powerful swim stroke.
- Strength Program designed for the needs of masters swimmers (periodized monthly)
- Alternate exercises provided for level of experience or injury considerations (we will meet you where you are at)
- 1 day per week instructed dryland strength sessions in a world class strength training facility

Tuesdays 8:00pm
4 sessions for $100

A 2005 UBC graduate from the school of Human Kinetics, Steve has been a strength coach since 2003 with experience ranging from injury rehabilitation to high performance strength and conditioning for professional athletes. After a 15-year career as a competitive swimmer Steve started up triathlon in 2010. That path has led him to some of the endurance athlete world’s most heralded events.
He attributes his success and resilience in running to strength training. Steve’s base of strength has provided his body the support that it needs to avoid injury and to be a high performer among age group athletes. Through innovative strength programs he has helped many clients start running and others get better at their craft.
