I wanted to work for a company that helps people be the best version of themselves and that’s exactly what we do at Envision Fitness. Every day I see people who are inspiring to make a change in themselves. It makes it hard to leave when I’m done my shift!

I was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and prior to my mom going into labour she had two dreams that there would be no doctor present during my birth. When she went into labour she kept telling the nurses to call the doctor in and they reassured her that she was just nervous as it was her first pregnancy. Turns out a massive snow storm happened around that time and the doctor was late. My dad and nurse ended up having to deliver me and the doctor showed up as my dad was cutting my umbilical cord.

I have been studying non-profit management for the past year with a recent change of wanting to study therapeutic recreation. I love helping people! I grew up playing softball and swimming, I also tried out soccer, tennis, and golf. Although I was relatively active I wasn’t the most gifted person when it came to athletics, I was a little uncoordinated and clumsy, to say the least. More recently I have developed a love for running.

I am extremely proud of running my first half marathon. I made it a new years resolution for myself last year and just fell in love with running. I am by no means a competitive runner but I just love getting out and running. My dad and my aunt are my biggest supporters and always hold each other accountable. This year we are doing two half marathons and seek the peek!

I’d be the female version of Spider Man mostly because it would be my luck to get bitten by some rare spider! I also like that he helps people without showing his face. He is humble and cares about the greater good without the fame.
